Ms. Robertson has guided us in graphic design, branding, and community outreach. Her gener-osity and commitment to the Roosevelt Racers has helped elevate us to the next level.
As a former supporting member and engineer, Alexander understands the importance of clearly defined responsibilities for all members in order to stay on track. With a year of experience, Alexander has a clear timeline of what has to be done to ensure success.
Eli’s Role is to advertise the team and reach out to potential sponsors. His job is to create sponsorships to fund the team, and increase customers to local businesses. He is involved with the marketing of the team, and hopes to promote it, so that it is a well recognized team, and also well run.
Samson is the R&D engineer for the Roosevelt racers. What that means is he specializes in working on research and development for the car. He uses tools such as CFD and FEA that will help benefit the car. He implements his research by using CAD to make changes to the physical design of the car, improving different aspects it’s overall performance.
PRODUCT & TEST MANAGER
Kaan as the product and test manager worked in design and development for the car, and implementing his ideas in CAD. Focusing on aerodynamics of the car as well as track testing and 3d printing. The quality and finalization of the car’s capabilities were important in this area.
VISUAL COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
As resource manager Thomas is responsible for supporting team members to make sure that they have the tools and content that they need to create an effective product. Thomas is also responsible for creating a budget, monitoring communications both internally and externally, making purchasing decisions, and keeping track of funds.
Lia worked on research design for the suspension system of the car, along with research on smoke tunnel testing. She also designed the pit display, collateral materials, and team identity. Lia completed the logo design and updated the color scheme for the 2020-2021 competition. She also worked with the business team to discuss fundraising ideas.
