About Us
The Roosevelt Racers are a team of 6 students consisting of two Sophomores, two Juniors, and two Seniors based in Eleanor Roosevelt High School. Initially founded in 2017, the team has competed a total of two times, once in 2017, and again in 2020. After a 4 year period of rest, the team has reawakened with a fresh roster of dedicated members.
All members are deeply rooted in their respective fields, and show an overall interest in all aspects of the competition. Literacy in both business and engineering are vital to all core members. Together, we are ready to tackle the STEM Racing competition.
Our mission
The Roosevelt Racer's mission goes beyond the track. While we are determined to compete at the highest level in the STEM Racing Global Competition, our greater goal is to grow alongside and uplift the community that supports us. Rooted in the spirit of innovation and inclusivity, we aim to inspire and educate the next generation of engineers, regardless of age, gender, or background. Guided by the values of Eleanor Roosevelt, we champion accessibility, curiosity, and excellence in STEM, using motorsports as a dynamic platform to drive change and build a more equitable future in science and engineering.
Our vision
We envision a future where every individual has the confidence and opportunity to take on complex challenges and pursue success at the highest level. We believe that empowering young people through education is essential to building a capable and forward-thinking generation, no matter what career path they choose. Our goal is not only to teach scientific principles, but also to foster critical thinking, curiosity, and problem-solving skills that extend beyond the classroom.

Our team
Our core team consists of 6 dedicated members who have committed 200+ hours each to this project, along with an array of support and club members. Our core team consists of 2 Sophomores, 2 Juniors, and 2 Seniors, and we strive to represent STEM education for all to build a future of innovators.
